Horizontal Rule in Microsoft Word

How do you add a horizontal line in-line in Microsoft Word? I can't tell you how many times I've gone to the Insert tab looking to just hit the Horizontal Line button, only to find out that button doesn't exist.

While I have no issue memorizing keyboard shortcuts, I take issue with this one, simply because it isn't a shortcut; it's really just the way you have to do it. And that way is:

Three dashes will automatically transform into a horizontal line. Unless, of course, you've turned off that automatic feature.

That's an emdash, not a horizontal rule...
